Our Mission: Free Healthcare
“Shifa” means “healing” or “cure” in Arabic. Founded in 1996, Al-Shifa Clinic upholds the Islamic principles of serving humanity by providing FREE healthcare to the uninsured and underinsured population of Minnesota. Our volunteers are committed to providing compassionate care in a culturally sensitive environment that welcomes everyone with dignity and respect, irrespective of their race, faith, or financial circumstances.
Primary Care Clinic
Appointments are given priority.
In-Person Only.
Every Sunday | 10am – 2pm
Minor illness/injury treatment, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
Most lab work is provided at no cost to patients. Many medications are available at no cost to patients. Imaging is done off-site as needed, with an out-of-pocket cost paid directly to the imaging center.
Emergency care and narcotic or controlled medications are not provided.
Psychiatry Clinic
Appointment Only.
Telehealth Only.
Most clinic days are held on Sundays 10am – 2pm
Offering evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, psychosis, and more. Treatment includes non-narcotic medication management, therapy, crisis counseling, and psychoeducation.
Care for active suicidal ideations and stimulant/controlled medications is not provided.

Scheduled by the Community.

Fridays/Saturdays (Flexible Times)
Hypertension and diabetes are among the most common chronic diseases affecting Americans. These are also known as the “silent killers”, often not being detected early.
Our team screens community members for these diseases through blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring
Tailored consultation by an on-site physician are offered to community members as needed
